Bishkek Special Needs Inclusive Daycare

Bishkek daycare is a unique program dedicated to socializing children with disabilities and integrating them into everyday life. Such programs are rare in the region. The daycare is attended by about 40 students, 9 of whom have disabilities. A key challenge is finding teachers trained to work with special needs children, which the school supports by providing training scholarships. We provided $5,000 to fund school furniture and essential kitchen appliances. A notable success is Ruslan, a student with autism, who progressed from extreme antisocial behavior to successfully attending a public school.
